Landlord Safety Certificates (CP12)
Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. It replaced CORGI. Only use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit, fix or service your appliances and always check the engineer’s Gas Safe Register ID card.

This legal requirement is complied with by the issuing of a 'Landlord Safety Certificate' (commonly referred to as a CP12) on completion of a successful Gas Safety Inspection which includes the safe working and installation of the meter, all appliances (boilers, cookers, fires, etc), all associated flues, pipework and ventilation requirements.

- a gas safety record is provided to the tenant within 28 days of completing the check or to any new tenant before they move in

Once a Landlord Safety Certificate has been issued by DJ Nelson Heating, a reminder service will be utilised, informing you before your next Certificate is due, which will allow you to make an appointment for a visit at a time and date convenient to you. This may be by text, email, or letter - it's up to you! Remember - you need to have a valid Landlord Safety Certificate in order to legally let your property!
